My epic Munro trek will stay with me forever

A hill climber has been telling of her journey to reach the top of all of Scotland's 282 Munros in one winter season.

Mountaineer Anna Wells, from Inverness, took 83 days to complete what is called the Winter Munro Round.

Starting on 22 December, the qualified mountaineering instructor had to finish her challenge before the end of astronomical winter on 20 March.

The 34-year-old said the experience had been the best three months of her life.
