Rowers face treacherous waves and cold on Antarctica expedition

A team of adventurers have undertaken one of the world's most dangerous rowing expeditions in Antarctica's Southern Ocean and Scotia Sea.

The international crew of six rowers, including Edinburgh man Jamie Douglas-Hamilton, rowed in 90-minute shifts for six days.

They faced some of the coldest and roughest seas on earth during the 407-mile voyage.
