Sunak: Rwanda win shows Tories 'completely united'

The PM has claimed his party had shown it was "completely united" in Wednesday's vote to back the Rwanda bill and to stop the boats.

Rishi Sunak said his plan was working, and was the “right one”, and he was able to cut taxes as inflation was falling.

BBC political editor Chris Mason suggested polls showed his plans had not worked so far and asked if it was time for him to tell some of his MPs to “put a sock in it”.
