Martin Lewis: I just got turned down for a peerage

Financial journalist Martin Lewis said he does not have enough time to devote to being a member of the House of Lords.

He said until his daughter is older, his most important job is to be with her in the evening.

Mr Lewis said he had been invited to apply for a peerage again in the future.
