Pirates Ahoy: The stranded boat causing a stir on the River Foyle

In recent weeks locals have noticed a former fishing trawler stranded on the River Foyle.

There have been attempts to move it but so far they have proved unsuccessful.

In the meantime the boat has now - it seems - got quite a few fans and is the subject of many young people's imaginings. Pirates Ahoy!
