Belfast City Airport flight disruptions over heavy fog
Heavy fog at Belfast City Airport has led to some disruption, with flights diverted to other airports.
Seven flights were diverted to Belfast International Airport on Sunday, while five were re-routed to Dublin.
Dublin Airport said the diverted flights had come from Edinburgh, Manchester, London and Southampton.
Cardiff Devils' Elite League match against the Belfast Giants was postponed after their flight was cancelled due to the weather.
No new date for the match has been set, but a Devils' statement said "tickets will be valid for the re-scheduled game".
Belfast International Airport confirmed it had received diverted flights due to the weather conditions at Belfast City Airport.
The Flight Radar 24 website charts the paths of flights around the world and on Sunday showed there were five flights circling Belfast Lough at one point.
Fog and mist differ by how far you can see through them, according to the Met Office.
Fog is when you can see less than 1,000 metres away, and if you can see further than 1,000 metres, the Met Office calls it mist.
