PSNI has 'big list' of issues to tackle, says interim chief
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has a "big list" of issues to tackle, the force's interim chief constable has said.
Jon Boutcher was formally appointed on Thursday after his predecessor Simon Byrne quit following a series of crises under his leadership.
Mr Boutcher has decades of experience within policing and is a former chief of Bedfordshire Police.
His appointment was confirmed by Northern Ireland Secretary Chris Heaton-Harris.
