Cancer nurse 'became my surrogate family during lockdown'

A woman diagnosed with uterine cancer has spoken of the benefits of having a clinical nurse specialist to support her through her illness.

Ita Hall, from County Armagh, was diagnosed in February 2020.

She went into hospital for surgery just as lockdown began, and as she attended chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions the specialist nurse became her surrogate family.
