NI 100: The 'midwife' to Northern Ireland

You've probably never heard of Sir Ernest Clark.

But this unassuming Englishman was one of the main architects in the creation of a new state as Ireland was divided into 2 separate administrations.

Historians Éamon Phoenix and Cormac Moore tell Declan Harvey and Tara Mills why Sir Ernest Clark is sometimes described as 'The Midwife' to Northern Ireland.
