What is the law on abortion in Northern Ireland?

The Supreme Court has found Northern Ireland's abortion laws incompatible with human rights in cases of fatal foetal abnormality and sexual crime.

The case - brought by the Human Rights Commission - was dismissed on a technicality.

The court did not make a formal declaration, which would normally result in the law being changed.
