Rishi Sunak: Three charged after Greenpeace protest at PM's home
Three people have been charged with criminal damage following a Greenpeace protest at Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's home in North Yorkshire.
Five people were arrested following the protest in Kirby Sigston on 3 August.
Mathieu Soete, 38, Amy Rugg-Easey, 33, and Alexandra Wilson, 32, are due to appear at York Magistrates' Court on 21 March.
A fourth person is due to answer bail at a later date, North Yorkshire Police said.
Neither the prime minister nor his family were present at the time of the protest, as they were on holiday in the US.
Rosemary Ainslie, from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), said: "The CPS reminds all concerned that criminal proceedings against the three defendants are active and that they have the right to a fair trial.
"It is extremely important there should be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings."
