Brighton & Hove Albion: Fans react as Seagulls top Europa League group
Brighton & Hove Albion fans have expressed their "delight" after a win against Marseille saw them top their Europa League group.
They will play their next game in the competition in March in the last 16 stage, skipping the play-off stage.
Following the "brilliant" win on Thursday, fans are daring to dream where the European adventure might lead them to.
Sarah and Maryan, a mother and daughter who are both Brighton fans, said they "love going to games" and to share the moment with each other was "brilliant".
They said the atmosphere inside the Amex stadium was "rocking" and said they "won't be sleeping tonight".
Fellow Seagulls supporters Fiona and Simon said the result was "never in doubt".
"We played really, really well and you have to always believe."
Supporters Sunny and Steve, who live in Hamburg, Germany, said they were "lost for words and couldn't explain how happy they were" after the win on Thursday night.
"But now we can't play Shakhtar Donetsk, which is annoying because of how close it is" the pair joked.
Another Brighton fan, Paul, said: "This is amazing - history in the making.
"It was electric when that ball went in - it was the best feeling ever."
Some French Brighton supporters also attended the game, travelling across the English Channel on the ferry to Newhaven.
They said how they have "fallen in love with Brighton as they are a small club who can pull off big results".
This win means Brighton can skip the next round and potentially avoid a tricky draw earlier on in the competition.
The draw will take place on Monday with the round of 16 matches due to take place in the week commencing 4 March.
Brighton's next league game is on Sunday, away to Arsenal.
