Flood warnings have been issued for Staffordshire amid fears over rising river levels.

They were put in place on Marchington Brook, at Marchington, and the River Blithe, from Blithfield Reservoir to Bancroft.

It follows heavy rainfall in the wake of Storm Gerrit.

The Environment Agency said many rivers in the Midlands were swollen after heavy rain and there was "fast-flowing" flood water.
