Ilchester: Flood clean-up continues after Storm Ciarán
Businesses are still struggling with the impact of flooding caused by Storm Ciarán.
Exmoor search and rescue teams were called to help people in Ilchester, Somerset, during high water levels.
Paws and Klaws, which provides pet services, said the storm flooded its premises with at least 3ft (0.9m) of water.
"There's just so much damage," the business' owner said.
"We started to hear the dogs going wild and knew something was up - thankfully all the seven dogs we were looking after on site that night were fine," he added.
The business is trying to raise £50,000 for repairs and futureproofing the building.
Ilchester Football Club is also raising money after its pitch was damaged by the storm.
Club secretary Gemma Pack said: "In my ten years at the club, I've never seen so much water on the pitches.
"No one can play on it at the moment as it would completely ruin it."
The club says it won't be back playing on the main pitch until after Christmas.
A spokesperson for Somerset County Council said: "We know it is a distressing and difficult time being affected by flooding.
"Establishing responsibilities can be complicated - but usually, as in this case, they tend rest with the landowner, who may not even be aware of this.
"This is a location right next to a watercourse and there was a significant storm which affected the whole of the South West, so properties nearby were at risk.
"We would be happy to talk to both the affected party and the landowner about the incident in more detail."
