Crews tackle large fire on Telford industrial estate

Firefighters were called to the fire on the industrial estate on Tuesday lunchtime

Firefighters have dealt with a "serious" factory fire in Telford.

People living near Hadley Industrial Estate were advised to keep windows and doors closed as a precaution because of smoke coming from the building.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was called out at 11:29 GMT and found the fire involved cladding between internal and external walls.

Footage shared on social media showed black smoke pouring from one side of the building.

The firefighters, from three stations, left the scene at 13:19.
