Boy, 13, on electric bike hit by police car

A 13-year-old boy has been struck and badly injured after his electric bike was hit by a police car.
The child suffered a serious leg injury in the crash on Southdean Road in Dovecot, Liverpool, at 15:50 GMT on Wednesday.
Merseyside Police said three bikes were reported as being ridden towards a police vehicle.
An investigation into the collision is being carried out and the force has appealed for witnesses to come forward.
