Footage shows woman's wrongful arrest over bus fare evasion
A police officer has been found guilty of assault over the wrongful arrest of a woman for fare evasion.
During the incident last July, Jocelyn Agyemang was placed in handcuffs and left with pain and bruising in her wrist, arm and shoulder.
Following the guilty verdict, Judge Deputy Senior District Judge Tan Ikram ruled that PC Perry Lathwood had made an error of judgment and over reacted.
The arrest was captured on police bodycam footage.
