Clapham shooting: Second man charged with firearms offence
A second 18-year-old man has appeared in court after two women were hurt by pellets from a shotgun that was dropped during a police pursuit in Clapham.
Brolyn Dangi is accused of aggravated vehicle-taking and possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life over the incident on 1 March.
Eight days ago, Keymarni King also appeared at Bromley Magistrates' Court.
One of the suspects was carrying a shotgun and, as two men fled on foot, they dropped the firearm, police say.
According to the Met Police, officers were chasing two people on a moped who had failed to stop in Clapham Common South Side, at about 17:00 GMT, when the moped struck a 27-year-old pedestrian and crashed "a short while later".
On hitting the ground, the weapon discharged and two women in the street, aged 27 and 36, were injured by shotgun pellets, Scotland Yard said.
The two women and the pedestrian have since been discharged from hospital.
Mr King, 18, from Tooting, previously appeared in court charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life or enabling another to do so.
He is also accused of aggravated vehicle-taking and injury caused by an accident, and two counts of wounding or inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
Mr Dangi and Mr King will next appear at Inner London Crown Court on 3 April.
