Southgate: Man, 30, held by police after fatal stabbing
A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 37-year-old man was stabbed to death in north London, the Met Police has said.
Emergency services were called to the attack at Queen Elizabeth's Drive, Southgate just after 14:00 GMT on Sunday.
The victim died later that day and his family has been informed.
A second man, 30, also arrested by police the same day was later released without further action.
Det Ch Supt Caroline Haines, the senior Met officer responsible for policing Enfield and Haringey, said: "This is a shocking incident that will no doubt cause concern to the community.
"Local people will see additional patrols in the Southgate area. Anyone with information or concerns should speak with those officers. They are there to support you."
