A man is being sought by police in connection with a fatal stabbing in north-west London.

Arlind Hashani, 20, is wanted over the killing of Ahmed Jama, 29, who was found in the Abbey Estate near St John's Wood on 29 December.

The lead investigator on the murder inquiry, Det Ch Insp Neil Rawlinson, said: "We urgently need to trace the whereabouts of Arlind Hashani.

"He is considered to be dangerous and should not be approached."

Mr Jama, who was discovered with stab wounds at about 19:30 GMT, was given first aid by paramedics before being taken to hospital, where he died.

His family is being supported by officers from the Met's Specialist Crime Command, the force said.

On 4 January, a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder, while three days later a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

On 17 January, two men, also 25, were held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, the Met said.

All four men were later released on bail.
