Clapham: Murder charge after man dies from 2016 stabbing

A man has been charged with the murder of a 22-year-old who died six years after being attacked in Clapham.
Jamel Boyce died at a care home in Streatham Hill in February 2022 as a result of injuries he sustained in a stabbing in October 2016.
A post-mortem examination gave a provisional cause of death as a penetrating injury to his chest.
A man was convicted and jailed for inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
Mr Boyce suffered severe brain damage due to oxygen deprivation.
Following his death, Met police opened a new investigation and last month, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) authorised a charge of murder.
Tyrese Osei-Kofi, 24, of no fixed address, is due to appear at Croydon Magistrates' Court on 27 December.
