Arrests made after alleged hate crime at Waterloo
Three men have been arrested after a "racially aggravated altercation" at Waterloo station, British Transport Police (BTP) has said.
BTP said an incident happened at about 17:30 GMT on Saturday "after a demonstration was dispersed".
A 57-year-old from Surbiton, a 61-year-old from West Molesey and a 33-year-old from Christchurch are in custody.
It comes after 145 people were arrested by the Metropolitan Police following demonstrations at the weekend.
A pro-Palestinian demonstration - which coincided with Armistice Day - took place in central London, with protesters calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
Meanwhile, counter-protesters - who included some far-right groups - clashed with police near the Cenotaph war memorial.
So far 11 people have been charged in relation to the events of Saturday. The alleged offences include possession of Class A drugs, carrying an offensive weapon, resisting arrest and assault.
A spokesman from the Met said: "Public order policing doesn't end when demonstrators go home. We have teams of officers who continue to build cases against those in custody and launch investigations into those who come to our attention when images and videos are shared on social media.
"We've published appeals in relation to six incidents and I have no doubt there will be more to follow."
