Group set up to help patients with 'frightening' ICU dreams

A peer support group has been set up for survivors of intensive care at a south-west London hospital.

The idea is to help patients come to terms with their experiences - both of being close to death and with the flashbacks and vivid dreams they experienced while in drug-induced comas.

The group at St Helier Hospital in Sutton encourages patients to talk about the dreams they had with those who had a similar experience.
