Newham stabbing: Boy, 15, killed in east London
A 15-year-old boy has been stabbed to death in east London.
Police said the teenage boy was found with stab wounds on Woodman Street, Newham, just before 19:00 GMT on Friday.
Despite the efforts of the emergency services he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Scotland Yard said the boy's next of kin had been informed. There have so far been no arrests and an investigation is under way.
'Always laughing'
Lawrence Adu said he was a friend of the boy's uncle and knew him "all his life".
"I just got home, I'm so shocked," Mr Adu, who is also the boy's neighbour, said.
"He's a nice young man, very handsome and always laughing."
