A57 crash: Man, 18, killed as car and HGV collide near Burton

An 18-year-old man has died in a crash after his car collided with an HGV on the A57 in Lincolnshire.

The man was driving a black Chevrolet Spark Plus when it was involved in a crash with the lorry at about 15:10 GMT on Wednesday near Burton.

Officers said the road was closed for the remainder of the day to allow investigation work to be carried out.

They said the man's family had been informed of his death and have appealed for any witnesses to contact them.
