Four people are in hospital following a three-vehicle crash in Lincolnshire.

It happened on the A52 near Swaton shortly before 15:30 BST on Wednesday.

Lincolnshire Police said the collision involved a white Peugeot Boxer van, a grey Mercedes-Benz E-Class car and a silver Citroën Xsara car.

Four people are in hospital including the driver and passenger of the Citroën and the Mercedes driver, who had all suffered serious injuries, police said.

A force spokesman added: "We believe that the van was travelling south on the B1394, the Mercedes was travelling west on the A52 and the Citroën travelling east on the A52 before the incident happened."

Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to contact police.
