A1(M) crash: Bus driver injured in collision with HGV

A bus driver has been taken to hospital after the vehicle he was driving collided with an HGV on the A1(M) in West Yorkshire.

The southbound carriageway was closed from 10:00 GMT on Thursday between junction 45 for Wetherby and junction 44 for York until about 14:45.

West Yorkshire Fire Service said the driver had to be freed from the bus after getting trapped in his cab.

West Yorkshire Police said he received treatment for minor injuries.
