Dartford: Online training offered for business starters
Potential entrepreneurs in Dartford, Kent, will be able to enlist the help of an organisation that helps build small businesses.
Dartford Borough Council has teamed up with Rebel Business School to offer online training.
The school helps people turn hobbies and passions into businesses.
The courses run between 12 and 24 February and are free thanks to a partnership between the council and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
People who attend will be shown how to start a business without going into debt or having to write a lengthy business plan, and will cover subjects such as finding customers online, dealing with tax, pitching to clients and creating a website.
The group specialises in helping those who could struggle to launch their own company by a traditional route.
Council leader Jeremy Kite said: "We have some incredible entrepreneurs and small businesses in the borough that will only benefit from the support that Rebel are offering.
"Hopefully they can encourage some residents to take that first step into business and follow their dreams too."
