Two people have been arrested after a two-vehicle crash which closed a road in Kent.

Kent Police said officers were called to Lunsford Lane near the A20 in Larkfield at about 08:20 GMT on Saturday.

The occupants of one vehicle fled the scene but a man and woman were later arrested at a nearby property, the force said.

No injuries were reported and the road has since reopened.

The arrested pair remain in custody.
