Snodland: Man charged after woman assaulted

A 38-year-old man has been charged with assault and unlawful violence after a disturbance in Kent.
Police officers arrived at a property in Holborough Road, Snodland, at 14:35 GMT on Thursday following reports a woman had been assaulted.
Kent Police said armed officers were sent to the scene where they found a man "acting in a threatening manner".
A man of no fixed address has been charged and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court.
He is accused of assault by beating, criminal damage to a door and internal furnishings, violence to secure entry to a premises, possession of an air weapon with intent to cause others to fear violence and using or threating unlawful violence. Kent Police said.
