A pedestrian who was struck by a car in a shopping car park has suffered life-changing injuries.

A grey Volkswagen ID.3 hit a person and several parked cars at Willerby Shopping Park, near Hull, at about 13:00 GMT on Monday, police said.

An air ambulance landed at the scene and the pedestrian was taken to hospital.

Humberside Police has asked anyone with information or who witnessed the collision to contact officers.
