A motorcyclist has died in a crash with a car in Bishop's Waltham.

Police were called to Winchester Road at just after 07:20 GMT following a collision between a Lexmoto Diablo and a Ford Ranger.

Officers said a 33-year-old man from Clanfield died at the scene.

A 43-year-old man from Bishop's Waltham has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving and remains in police custody.

The family of the motorcyclist have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

Hampshire Constabulary is appealing for witnesses.
