Gloucester man driving without a tyre arrested

A man in his 30s who was driving a vehicle which was missing a tyre has been arrested.

A black Range Rover was stopped in Kingsholm, Gloucestershire, shortly after 10:00 GMT on Wednesday.

Smoke was seen coming from the vehicle, which was missing a rear tyre.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving dangerously and driving while under the influence of alcohol. Cocaine was also seized from the vehicle, police said.

Officers added that drugs and a large quantity of cash were found at a nearby shop which is being linked to the inquiry.

The man, who is from Gloucester, remains in custody.

A second man, also in his 30s and from Gloucester, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs.
