Free support for creative businesses in Devon

Creative UK, in partnership with Torbay Council, said the Devon Create Growth Programme aimed to support businesses with "creativity at their core".
Two support programmes are available for businesses in various creative industries.

The programmes, funded by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, will support businesses in advertising, marketing, architecture, crafts, design and designer fashion, film, TV, video, radio, photography, IT, software and computer services, publishing, museums, galleries, libraries, music, performing and visual arts.
One programme, lasting six months, will support new or emerging businesses, and another programme, lasting nine months, will support those "ambitious" about about commercial models, growth and investment.
A launch event will take place on Wednesday 24 January at the Palace Theatre in Paignton at 17:30 GMT.
Applications will close on 4 March for the nine month programme, and 1 April for the six month programme.
