Risley: Motorcyclist in stable condition after A52 crash

A motorcyclist is in a stable condition after being airlifted to hospital following a crash on the A52.

Police said they were called to a report of a collision involving a motorbike near Risley, Derbyshire, just after 13:30 GMT on Monday.

The road was closed eastbound between the A5111 Raynesway and the M1 at junction 25 until 21:00.

Police said the man had suffered serious injuries and have appealed for any witnesses to get in contact.
