Fisherman's Friends release Christmas single
The Cornish folk group Fisherman's Friends have released their first Christmas single.
The seasonal track is a shanty version of the carol I Saw Three Ships.
Ahead of the January release of the group's new album All Aboard, the Port Isaac outfit said they recorded the song as a "happy bonus".
In 2023 the band sold 50,000 tickets for their own performances and another 250,000 for Fisherman's Friends: The Musical.
After a break for Christmas, the band will begin their 2024 theatre tour in January.
Jon Cleave, founder member and bass player, said on stage was "where we belong".
He said: "It's all about sharing the songs we love with the people we love to see, our wonderful audiences up and down the land."
The Fisherman's Friends play Plymouth Pavilions on 6 April, Hall for Cornwall, Truro on 4 and 5 October, and the Royal Albert Hall in London on 8 October.
