Man, 42, charged with woman's murder in Mount Hawke

A 42-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murder after the death of a woman in Cornwall.

Michaela Hall, 49, was found dead at a house in Mount Hawke, near Truro at about 22:30 BST on Tuesday, police said.

Lee Kendall, of Charlotte Close, Mount Hawke, appeared at Truro Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

Mr Kendall was remanded in custody and will appear at Truro Crown Court on Monday.
