A47 at Guyhirn reopens after van and school bus collide
A section of the A47 in Cambridgeshire has reopened after a van and a bus carrying schoolchildren collided.
Pictures showed the van engulfed in flames after the incident at Guyhirn, near Wisbech, on Monday evening.
Cambridgeshire Police said there were no serious injuries and both vehicles had been recovered from the scene.
Damage to the surface meant the A47 was closed in both directions between the A141 for March and B1167 for Thorney but it reopened at about 03:00 GMT.
Police said the accident was reported to them at about 16:35 GMT on Monday.
No-one had been arrested, they said.
Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said when crews arrived, they found "a well-developed fire involving a van that had spread to a bus and another van".
The bus was safely evacuated when the crews arrived, they added.
An investigation found the cause of the blaze was accidental.
