Siren festival has announced Sugababes as its first headliner for 2024

The Sugababes have been announced as the first headliner at a popular city music event.

The pop trio will be playing at Bristol harbourside gig series Siren, which has been running for three years.

Tom Hoyle, co-founder of Siren, said the group will headline on the first night, with details of other performers to come.

The event is being held from 1 August with tickets going on public sale on Friday 16 February at 10:00 GMT.

Sugababes will be performing hits including Overload, Freak Like Me and Round-Round at the Amphitheatre in the harbourside.

Mr Hoyle said: "They're one of those bands that have connected with so many different audiences and their music holds so many memories for people.

"Now we get to be a part of creating new memories with them, which is unbelievable."

Siren will feature a line-up of well-known and up-and-coming artists, with Sean Paul and Fabio & Grooverider among last year's performers.

Hospitality on the Harbour, on 3 August, will see drum and bass stars Andy C, Netsky and High Contrast make an appearance.
