Beaver seen swimming near Bedminster Bridge in Bristol

The rare sight of a beaver swimming in a city river has been caught on camera.

Passers-by spotted the animal enjoying a swim in the River Avon near Bedminster Bridge in Bristol.

James David took a short video as the beaver made its way through the water before taking a rest on the bank.
