Buckinghamshire doctor guilty of hospital sexual assaults
A doctor has been found guilty of two charges of sexual assault which date back nearly 20 years.
Salman Qureshi, from Eleanor Gardens in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, targeted young women in two Buckinghamshire hospitals.
Thames Valley Police said he carried out assaults in Stoke Mandeville Hospital and Wycombe General Hospital between September 2005 and August 2018.
The 43-year-old is due to be sentenced on 29 November.
Qureshi pleaded not guilty to four charges of sexual assault at Aylesbury Crown Court, but a jury unanimously found him guilty on two of the counts.
Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust said: "The safety of our staff and patients is our number one priority. We take all allegations of sexual assault extremely seriously.
"We gave our full co-operation to the police throughout their investigation of Dr Qureshi. Today our thoughts are with those affected by his actions."
