Milton Ernest farm worker taken to hospital after falling in silo

A farm worker has been taken to hospital after falling into an empty silo.

Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said a number of appliances, including a rope rescue team, were sent to the Milton Ernest property.

It said it was called at 12:04 BST and worked with the East of England Ambulance Service to get to the injured person.

A silo is a tall tower or pit on a farm, usually used to store grain.
