Southern Water 'very likely' to issue hosepipe ban in Kent and Sussex

Southern Water has announced it is "very likely" to issue a hosepipe ban across Kent and Sussex this summer.
Katy Taylor, the firm's chief customer officer, said despite the "significant rain and storms" on Tuesday, it was "just one day" amid a very dry summer and winter.
South East Water was the first water company in the area to introduce a ban, and Thames Water announced earlier a ban will start next week.
Ms Taylor said it was "unfortunate".
