Heavy snow has hit part of Yorkshire causing significant disruption.

But the wintry weather has also created some picturesque scenes which have been snapped by the BBC's Weather Watchers.

A yellow Met Office warning for snow and ice is in force until 21:00 GMT on Thursday.
