Migrants in French camp say Rwanda plan won't deter them

People living in a migrant camp have told the BBC the threat of being sent to Rwanda will not stop them trying to enter the UK.

The Supreme Court has ruled the government's scheme to fly some asylum seekers to Rwanda is unlawful - citing "substantial grounds" to believe that some of those deported to the country could be sent back to places where they would be unsafe.

After the judgement, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced he would bring in emergency legislation to certify that Rwanda was a "safe" country, despite the court's decision.

BBC News reporter Sofia Bettiza spoke to migrants in Dunkirk who said they wanted to get away from their camp, where they live in tents and makeshift structures, as fast as they can.
