Watch the moment sirens start on phones across the UK

People around the UK heard a siren and alert on smartphones as part of a government test of a system that will be used to warn of life-threatening emergencies.

For some the test began a little before the predicted time of 15:00 BST, while other people didn't receive the message at all.
