Political leaders in East Suffolk are reviewing all options as to reorganising local councils.

Residents are to be given an extra recycling bin as per new laws.

The facility will be built on agricultural land, despite 238 negative responses from the public.

Suffolk is one of nine areas that will have its local elections postponed this year.

Commercial businesses will no longer be granted licences to rent out the craft.

Proposals to increase allowances will be discussed at a council meeting this week.

Those against licences cite public safety, public nuisance and concerns over the impact on wildlife.

The council says it is beginning investigation works in the area ahead of the repairs.
