The Walsall Council leader says some people have been "threatening" in demanding money from queuing motorists.

Walsall Council says numbers of shoppers at markets have fallen and it wants to shape the future.

The youth bus, which has recording equipment, is touring areas of Walsall from 4-9 November.

The site is in Reedswood Park, where a wood was planted for Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee.

Some question the need for the £35,000 statues, but others praise them as "absolutely wonderful".

The project is being delivered in stages and wants to make more space available for active travel.

They say “there is a real risk of the whole region declaring itself as financially unsustainable”.

The new site will be powered by solar energy and will take in 40,000 tonnes of rubbish each year.
