Petition opposing village fire station criticised

Plans for the facility on land off the A52 near Boston have been approved by Lincolnshire County Council.

Leverton fire station. A red-brick building, set back from the main road. A red roller shutter door takes up about half the front of the building. There is a space for a fire service vehicle to the left of the building behind a fence.

The council says it is difficult to manoeuvre vehicles at the existing station in Leverton.
