The pair of Amur leopards have been gradually introduced to each other.

Rick Minter, of Big Cat Conversations, thinks the UK has a well-established population of leopards.

"One of the cubs is more boisterous than the other, but both are doing really well," the zoo says.

Nineteen-year-old Xizi "captured everyone's hearts" at the Big Cat Sanctuary in Smarden.

The two-month-old cub is the first to be born at the zoo in more than a decade.

Lena is heading to the site in Devon as it is thought she will be an ideal breeding partner.
